ACTS Computer College always has a genuine care and love for its students as it is sincerely extending its helping hands to them through providing scholarship programs and through having partnership with scholarship providers such as private and government institutions. Last November 5-6, 2020, the institution conducted the Awarding of Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) of the Unified Student Financial Assistance System for Tertiary Education (UNIFAST). This government program was approved under President Duterte`s administration. It is under R.A. 10931 or the “Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act,” enabling students to have access to free and quality education. The main aims of this government program with the help of private institution are to equip the students with the knowledge and skills necessary for the 21st century challenges and to alleviate the problem in relation with poverty.

The qualified students were verified, validated and approved by the UNIFAST Board. The scholarship grant was given at ACTS Computer College. Mrs. Emy Garcia and Ms. Eva Sardal were the responsible personnel for the distribution of the grants. The following are the grantees of the said scholarship program. 7 additional Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) grantees for A.Y. 2018 – 2019, 2 4Ps – Social Welfare and Development Indicators (SWDI) grantees for A.Y. 2018 – 2019, 15 TES grantees for A.Y. 2019 – 2020. They received an amount of P60,000. P20,000 from the amount received will be used to pay for the student’s tuition fee and the remaining P40,000 will be used by the students in other related educational matters.

It is indeed a great opportunity for ACTS Computer College as it is used to be the instrument in providing free quality education for the qualified students.

To GOD be the Glory.
