ACTS Team Building 2018

ACTS Computer College held its team building last June 1 and 2, 2018 at the Calubcub Bay Resort in Batangas City with a theme of Together Everyone Achieves More. It was a two-day activity experienced by the faculty and staff of the institution which aimed to develop their physical, intellectual, emotional, social and spiritual aspects. The place was indeed beautiful and refreshing. Everybody was excited upon reaching the said place.Everything was in set. The task for each group was properly assigned. The Green Team was responsible for the “lunch service”. The yellow team was tasked for the “dinner service”. Then, the white team was assigned for the “breakfast”.

Around 3:00 pm, the activity has officially started. It started by a prayer meeting which was led by Prof. Ruben F. Macalinao and the sharer for that day was Ms. Rhiza Cañete. After the meeting, the “Official Battle Between Each Team” has begun. The competition was composed of eight team building activities namely: Wikarambulan, Movin’ On Up, Tipsy, Obstacle Course, Mine Field, Egg Catch and Defend the Flag. The said activities were headed by Engr. Ian Randie A. Villatuya and Dr. Adoree A. Ramos. Each team has truly shown their eagerness to become the “Overall Champion”. Everybody witnessed how they prepared for their strategies and how they worked as a team.

After competing with one another, the result of the “ACTS Team Building Activities” has finally computed and the group who got the “Overall Champion” was none other than “Yellow Team”. They earned the total points of 18. The activities that they got the first place were the yell, minefield and defend the flag. Next, the team who received the second place which was the “ Green Team”. They gathered the score of 17 points. The activities that they became the first place were the wikarambulan, tipsy and egg catch. Then, for the third place, “White team” got the position. They scored the total points of 13. The activities that they received the first place were the moving’ on up and the obstacle course.

It was indeed a close-fight between the three teams. All of the members of ACTS family definitely felt happy and relaxed. Thanks to the Almighty God and to each member of ACTS Computer College. Another big successful event has been accomplished for the year 2018.
