ACTS Computer College held the much awaited face to face of both parties for the position of Supreme Student Government Officers for the year 2019. This event was conducted last July 5, 2019 at the covered court of the Monserrat Subdivision which aimed the fair voting and democratic process of the students as they decide on whom to vote for a certain position.

The said event was led off at around 11:00 in the morning. It formally begun with an opening prayer headed by Ms. Eizalyn P. Manalo. Then, an inspiring message was delivered by Dr. Eric P. Castillo, the Senior High School Principal, as for his opening remarks. Everybody was in great joy as they were energized by the meaningful message they heard from Dr. Castillo. Mr. John Steven A. Bacube and Ms. Maria Lourdes D. Monteramos moderated the flow of the program. The atmosphere was as hot as the weather as they introduced the both parties, “ The ORIG Party” and the “The GOLD SQUAD Party”. The crowd was cheering aloud while showing and waving the banners they prepared with full effort. It was obviously seen how the students gave their full support for both parties. The candidates from the the “ORIG Party” were the first one who delivered their speeches. They were introduced by their campaign managers, Mr. Caranto and Ms. Espiritu of STEM 12- LOVE. After that part, they presented a dance number which has the tune of “Baby Shark”. Followed to it, was the next party, the “GOLD SQUAD Party”. The candidates were called by their campaign managers, Mr. Paylado, Mr. Bermudez and Ms. Matienzo of ABM 12- LOVE. They gave their speeches as well. Then, they acted a short scenario which was incorporated into the dance number they performed. The ORIG Party and the GOLD SQUAD Party performed a dance number in collaboration. Indeed, they showed to the students that this candidacy of both parties was a friendly competition.

Subsequent to that, another highlight of the said event was held next, the forum. The students were encouraged to raise three questions to the members of each party. The first two questions asked were mainly answered by the President of each party. As part of that, they explained well, the platforms or the actions they are planning to do. Then, a student from HUMSS strand asked the the final question which was answered by the other members of both parties. This event was ended with a closing prayer led by Ms. Manzyel Joy G. De Lilla.

Few days after, the official voting for their aspiring “”SSG Officers 2019” happened on July 8, 2019 at the ACTS Main Building.
