ACTS’ Annual Sustainable Evaluation and Planning 2019

A three – day activity to commence ACTS Computer College’s Annual Sustainable and Planning for the year 2019 with the theme "Together Everyone Achieves More" was prepared by the institution which aimedtoprepare all the personnel forthe upcomingS.Y. 2019 – 2020 and toequip them with knowledge about the educational system for the 21st century learners in the Philippine setting, how to build high performance team and how to help to achieve the best work and life balance. It was conducted last May 22 – 24, 2019 at ACTS Computer College Lecture Hall.

The said event was participated by all faculty and staff of ACTS Computer College as well as the newly- hired faculty of the institution. The moderators were Ms. Abiekhay Camillee U. Lavastida and Ms. Ma. Lourdes D. Monteramos which were responsible incontrolling the entire flow of the program. There were presentations of reports and talks which were done for three days. The first day which was held last May 22, 2019 started with an invocation led by Ms. Michelle M. Castro and opening remarks by Prof. Ruben F. Macalinao. Presentations of reports such as Monitoring of Employees’ Absences and Tardiness and Submission of Lesson Plan, Periodical Exams and Responded Text Messages, Evaluation of School Activities for A.Y. 2018 – 2019, Employees’ Attendance in the Afternoon Meeting, Submission of Weekly Assessment, Final Grading Sheets, SHS Enrollment and Drop – outs and Retention, Comparative Reports of College Enrollment, Drop – outs and Retention of Students of A.Y. 2017 –2018and A.Y. 2018 – 2019. Therewas also an Annual Evaluation of Action Plan of A.Y. 2018 – 2019. The second day was the continuation of action planning and evaluation of S.Y. 2018 – 2019. The last day happened last May 24, 2019 wherein selected faculty of ACTS Computer College served as the speakers. The first day started with the invocation and followed by a heartfelt message from the College President/Director, Prof. Ruben F. Macalinao. He was also the first speaker which inspired the faculty and staff with his inspiring messages about “You are Made for God’s Mission”. The second speaker was the Assistant SHS Principal of ACTS Computer College, Prof. Adeline Z. Davac who discussed the “Educational System for the 21st Century Learners in the Philippines Setting”. The third speaker was Dr. Eric P. Castillo, the SHS Principal and Head of DTVTEd, who talked about “Building High Performance Team”. The last speaker, Dr. Adoree A. Ramos presented a talk about “Helping EmployeesAchievethe Best Work/ LifeBalance”.

This activity was really another way to empower all the ACTS Computer College personnel as they are going to face another school year of great challenges and opportunities.
