Search for Mister and Miss ACTS Senior High School 2018: A Day of Beauty and Glamour

Senior High School students (SHS) of ACTS Computer College were once again given the opportunity to showcase their physical beauties, intellectual activities and confidence during the Search for Mr. and Ms. ACTS SHS 2018. The event was held last September 27, 2018 at the Cultural Center of Laguna. The pageant featured 10 gorgeous ladies and 10 handsome gentlemen who came from different Senior High School strands. The off-stage announcers were Mr. John Steven Bacube and Ms. Angelica Cullano. The main host were Mr. Lemuel Lacbay and Mrs. Jamaica Castillo.

The program started with the doxology performed by the ACTS Dance Troupe and the invocation led by the Assistant Senior High School Principal, Prof. Adeline Davac. A heartfelt message from the School President/Director, Prof. Ruben F. Macalinao welcomed the guests, participants and judges of the pageant. It was followed by the introduction of the distinguished board of judges by Dr. Adoree A. Ramos. The audience yelled loudly as the 20 candidates presented their energy boosting production number. They competed with different categories such as festival costume competition, swimwear competition, formal wear competition and the most awaited part, the question and answer portion.

It was Ms. Marijoy Villafranca, Grade 12 student of Humanities and Social Sciences Strand, who was crowned as the Ms. ACTS SHS 2018 and Mr. Josh Reforma of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics strand, who bagged the Mr. ACTS SHS 2018. Other winners of the pageant were the following: Ms. Vernie Tacolod of Humanities and Social Science strand and Mr. Alexis Caguioa of General Academic Strand (Second Runners-Up) and Ms. Ma. Kyla Delos Reyes, Accounting and Business Management student and Mr. Generson Maghari of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics strand were crowned as the First Runners - Up, this pageant was considered as another success story for ACTS Computer College.
