ACTS COMPUTER COLLEGE’S 32nd Foundation Anniversary: “Building Opportunities Towards Global Competitiveness”

March 11-14, 2019 was indeed a great and blessed week for ACTS Computer College as the members of ACTS family celebrated its Foundation and Sportsfest 2019 with the theme "Building Opportunities for Global Competitiveness. Different sports related competitions were carefully lined up which included cheer dance and dancesports competition, muse and escort, ball games, board and mind games which really aim to highlight all the skills and talents of ACTS students. This activity also aimed to build camaraderie, love and unity among the ACTSTISTAS.

Students from the College and Senior High School Departments were grouped into four team colors namely : Yellow Warriors, Red Cavaliers, Blue Knights and Green Archers. All the Senior High School and College faculty served as the Team Leaders of each team who supervised and guided them throughout the competition. Thanks Giving Mass was the prior activity of the said celebration as it is the best way to glorify and to express the gratitude to the Almighty God for always giving the institution countless blessings. The next day, the celebration was commenced by the parade of teams followed by an opening program. It was followed by the Muse and Escort Competition, Dancesports Competition and Cheerdance Competition. It was the Yellow Warriors who dominated the first day of Sportsfest as they bagged the first place in the Muse and Escort, and Cheerdance Competition. It was the Red Cavaliers who got the first place in the Dancesports Competition. The ball games and the mind games competitions were done on the last three days of Sportsfest.

The points acquired by each team from different competitions were tallied. From this data, the Yellow Warriors headed by Ms. Abiekhay Camillee Lavastida, Mrs. Moriela Mercado, Mr.Lemmuel Lacbay, Mr. Nino Joseph Valenzuela, Mr. Rowell Condino and Ms. Marjorie Dauba, were proclaimed as the OVERALL Champion. The first runner -up was the Red Cavaliers. They were guided by their team leaders: Engr. Randie Ian Villatuya, Ms. Ma. Lourdes Monteramos, Mr. Ariel Tobias, Ms. Angelica Cullano and Ms. Elaine Caguingin. The second runner -up was the Blue Knights led by Ms. Maricris Amoloza, Mr. John Steven Bacube, Ms. Adeline Davac and Ms. Michelle Castro. The third runner -up was the Green Archers. The team leaders were Mr.Jerome Aguilar, Mrs. Jamaica Castillo, Ms.Ledalyn Monteagudo, Ms. Alison Annonuevo, Ms. Jorgelie Arjona and Ms. Manzyel De Lilla.

This year's Foundation Week Celebration and Sportsfest reflected how ACTS COMPUTER COLLEGE is continuously serving all its stakeholders with faith, love, sincerity and compassion. It seems that everyone really enjoyed it and another great piece was added on the history of the institution.
